Job Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager who excels at speaking the language of our industrial customers while possessing the technical insight to work effectively with our internal development teams. In this role, you will own the product roadmap and feature timelines, ensuring they are aligned with both customer expectations and realistic engineering efforts. You will be instrumental in transforming customer challenges into actionable product requirements and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver practical solutions on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement & Requirements Gathering:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact with industrial customers, understanding their unique challenges and needs.
    • Translate customer insights and industry language into clear, detailed product requirements and feature specifications.
    • Conduct regular meetings and discussions with customers to manage expectations and gather feedback.
  • Product Roadmap & Timeline Management:
    • Collaborate with internal development teams to create realistic product and feature timelines.
    • Prioritize product backlogs, balancing customer needs with technical feasibility and resource availability.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to refine technical requirements, ensuring a solid understanding of engineering constraints.
    • Facilitate clear communication between technical teams and customers, ensuring that both parties are aligned on project objectives and timelines.
    • Manage internal and external communications regarding product updates, milestones, and changes in scope.
  • Strategy & Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor industry trends and customer feedback to inform strategic product decisions.
    • Advocate for new ideas and product enhancements that improve customer satisfaction and support business growth.
    • Evaluate project performance and iterate on product strategies to continually enhance quality and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a product management role, ideally within an industrial or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and translate engineering requirements into actionable timelines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage and manage industrial customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive attitude and the flexibility to adapt to evolving customer needs and technology trends.
